Hello I have one of the zune 4gb and of course it freezes constantly. I have reset and reset and still it continues to freeze. It starts by freezing with the word ZUNE and zune symbol with the load bar. The when I flip over the hold button it will go to a black screen. Then when I flip it again it will go to the main screen with my options on it. The Zune port where the wire connects into my zune has become broken. Iīve only connected the Zune to my computer as everyone else does, however, it has pushed up one of the little copper/bronze prongs which connects the Zune via the cable inside the port. My question, is can this be fixed without costing me an arm and a leg?
Iīve had it for only three months so far, and the thing broke from doing a standard procedure hook-up. Personally, for the three hundred dollars I payed for it, I feel as though I have been ripped off. I do like the big, bulky design, but just to have it be broken by one of itīs functions to get connected to my laptop is well worthy of being called pure and utter balderdash. It makes the iPod look more appealing and this device, itīs maker, and the users who hail it more like morons.
Whoever initially designed these things needs to get laid off and learn how to do things right. Possibly study the iPod more and learn how to fix a lot of these bugs the Zune has. Microsoft needs to stop being so reckless. We all would appreciate good quality devices, performance and services.
But still, is there a way to have my broken Zune repaired or replaced without much hassle?

To delete stuff off your Zune hook it up and open the zune program. On thr left you should see options like your playlists and library, and the choice on the bottom should be the name of your zune. Click on that, then choose audio video or pics at the top and what shows up in the middle of the screen you should be able to delete. This should be what is currently on your zune, i deleted the stuff that came with it no problem

Hi my name is Myeisha and I am 12 years old.I was woundering how to fix my zune.My brother was tossing rocks and one of them hit my zune and now the screen is cracked.The zune its self works but not the screen.My other problem is I tried to update my zune like it asked me to then it told me to turn my computer off.When I turned it back on all the songs I bought was gone.I tried to buy them back but all it did was show by the song name is a circle with a x in it.Im not shure how to get my songs back but if you could help me that would be great!
