Microsoft's Zune HD media player, decked out with an OLED screen, HD video skills and Wi-Fi, goes on sale in the US in just days, but until now it's kept quiet on a potential European release. But one Microsoft boss has just granted us a glimmer of hope, so read on to see if we’ll be blessed with the mother of all PMPs soon.

Microsoft France's entertainment division director, Francois Rualt, has gone on the record to say that we shouldn’t expect to see the Zune HD released on either side of the channel this year.
But, he did leave the window open while shutting the door: "I'm not saying the Zune HD will never leave US, but for now, we have no intention of marketing it here ", he said.

But a lot can happen between now and never, so take note Microsoft. Samsung could start making tasty PMPs, and the iPod touch could go OLED. The world could end. Strike while the iron’s hot, we say, and drop the Zune HD over here too please.

I put music on my zune and it worked fine. I changed the songs(artist name year etc.) and i put those songs on my zune and it worked. I tried to delete the songs that werent labeled properly off my zune but it wouldnt. I dont want to delete everything and label all my songs again, also zune doesnt label because i supposedly dont have a connection to zune.?

I just bought my husband a 8 gb zune & I tried to install the software & it comes up error with player can´t update software or something like that. I got mine 2 months ago & had issues with it also but i finally got it. Can u not have 2 zunes on the same pc ?

My zune was working fine, listening to music and all, and when i turned it off, and later on to listen to it, the touch pad stop working how can i fix this i tried to restart it and it wont wont, a quick flicker, and the play button and back button work, but not the scroll pad. is this possible to fix?

I bought 4 8g Zume player and I return them all . I have another one and it does the same thing as the rest . The battery recharge does not last very long , maybe a hour if that . I even have a Zume dock that I recharge my Zume with . Is there a fault with the unite or their something I don´t knoe about I like going back to the Zume because I like the program , otherwise I would get something else . any suggestions . thanks ?

I just received a 80 gb zune as a gift and when I try to use it I get a" error code 5 "message. Does this mean that I will have to replace the hard drive,or another expensive part Please let me know what I have to do to fix this player.?
