I have the same problem and am so glad to know that I donīt have to replace the entire LCD screen. When you put the new glass screen in do you have to do anything to make it stay in?

Go to http://www.rapidrepair.com/ and find the glass replacement screen for about $13.99 for your Zune. Take a box cutter blade (not on the actual handling tool) and gently go around the edges, popping the screen off the Zune. Then replace the screen with the one you ordered online.
Glass is WAY easier to crack than plastic, but it is not as easy to scratch. Try ordering about 2 or 3 because my has cracked numerous times, I wish there was plastic screens...
