Question:
My Friend Gave me a used Zune over a year ago ( i guess its a really old version 30 gb model1091). TODAY i decided to use it and when i connect the headphones a weird tapping, clicking sound appears. I can navigate through the menus and even play music but i can still hear the clicking noise over the song that i´m trying to listen. Is there a way to fix this ?

I would think this is electronic not a broken connection. Possibly because the tapping is constant it could be the hard drive and a bad earth on the board. A bit like static. Has the device been opened?

I have this same exact problem and am wondering what the clicking noise is as well. I hope the headphone jack isnt broke or something.
