My Zune was playing music then stopped and said contact support and will not do anything else except make a ticing noise?

If it is making a repetative noise, possible from the hard drive then it could be a malfunction of the drive itself. This is normally brought on by the end of life or it had a knock. If still under warranty get them to fix it or replace. If not then you may need a new hard drive.
