I had my zune for 6 mos and it died suddenly. No scratches, no water damage just died the week after my warranty expired. The zune customer support office didnīt do a dag on thing for me. So Iīve wasted $175. Really pissed and will never go back to Zune, ever!!!!

I bought a zune as soon as they came out way back wen cuz i thought the name sounded kool. tht was the original brick looking thing. I just got my zune hd last week and its awesome. Looking back on the 6 zunes ive had over the years id take the zune over ipod any day. The only reason ive gone through 5 is becuz i always leave them in my pants pockets and they go through the wash. Anyway i find evrything on the zune better than the ipod except for the apps. so if anyone knows about more apps coming out in the future email me at bigoakdaddy17@yahoo.com

I love my 30gb zune. it stoped working completely though when it got corrupted in a cassette adapter. The zune website said it would cost 130 bucks to fix it but i researched instead. I replaced the battery for 15 dollars and works normal again :)

The worst thing about the Zune is how difficult it is to find accessories and support for it in stores. I guess thatīs how Mac users feel most of the time. Other than a dumb scratch I put in my screen Iīm satisfied with this 30gb refurb I got for $80. I use it to carry my entire music collection, personal photos, and full seasons of tv shows to take with me on long trips or extended times away from home. Now If only there were an a2dp bluetooth dongle to make it wireless. If I wanted something more advanced than this Iīd go with a Cowon or an Archos but those are easily $400 machines.

I absolutely love my zune. Iīve had a first generation 30 gig. model for a while, it was bought before the newer ones came out, and I still think that it is one of the most quality and innovative mp3 players Iīve ever owned. while iPods are nice, given a choice between an iPod and a Zune of the same memory storage, the Zune (In my opinion) touts a more aesthetic interface and personalization capability (like being able to make your own picture as the background, which the iPod cannot do, as well as other "settings" abilities). The Zune also plays FM radio, which a lot of people really like, and has a much larger screen friendlier to watching movies and the like. The ability to send songs to other Zunes is a little gimmicky, because you are hard pressed to find another Zune within 30-50 feet of yours, but occasionally I do, and then itīs kindof cool to see what other people like to listen to. Probably the GREATEST thing is Microsoftīs innovation in periodic FREE total software updates. This allows my 1st generation Zune to behave like a 2nd or 3rd generation in every way system-wise. While iTunes does update itīs software, it doesnīt update the actual iPOD. Also, Zune software is MUCH easier to work with than iTunes and MUCH cooler/nicer to look at (sorry apple, the iPod/iTunes interface is a little boring-looking.), and unlike iTunes, if you add albums onto Zune software and put them on you Zune device, the computer will not delete all the songs you have on your Zune that are not on your library, while iTunes "Synch"s. All in all, I will never switch to anything other than Zune.

I will never buy another Zune. Have one that quit working 2 months after the 1 year warranty. They tell it will cost $159.95 to repair it, only paid $199.99 for it. I am buying an IPOD for less than that.

The zune is great. To be honest the zune is better than most ipods rachel. If it breaks down it you can fix it by your self. I bet rachel doesnīt even have a zune. if she has a zune it was probobly the 4gb one.

My Zune experience has been just awesome. Any technical issues have been easily resolved by just checking with the troubleshooting guide. Once I did have to call in for support, but the tech was able to fix my problem in no time (I had put my Zune on too many computers, so they had to remove some from their site). The 80 gig is great!
