I have a 30g which I have replaced the HD with an 80g about 6 months ago. Everything was fine. I replaced a screen in my friends 30g and he broke it, he tried to replace it again himself, and screwed it all up. I replaced the screen and the click wheel ribbon that he damaged and the zune would not work. I plugged it in to the computer and the logo would apear for a few seconds, then turn off ( no progress bar). I wanted to figure out the problem, so I took my zune apart and started swapping components to see which of his might be faulty, but then the same thing happened to my zune. Also, when I unplug either of them from the computer they turn off instantly. I discovered the next day that if I plugged them into a power source other than a computer, they worked fine until unplugged. While I had mine working I did a hard reset to see if it was a software problem, it did not work. Now My zune is blank and needs to by synced with my computer, but still keeps turning off and on. I have already replaced the battery. ?

Go to www.ipodmods.com. You can get a new screen there to replace by yourself for $150 or ship it in and get it replaced. That´s the only option I know of. ?
