My Zune was working out pretty good and then all of a sudden I was getting ready to sync a cd and I got this message "The Zune software can´t access important data on your zune." Then it told me to disconnect and reconnect it and I did that and I still got the same message. Also the majority of the music went away on the zune that I had put on there. I recently purchased a 4GB Zune mp3 player and everything was working perfectly fine until my software stopped starting up. Everytime I open up the software, I get the following message: "microsoft zune has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience" I´ve tried reinstalling my software many times, but still the same problem! I even tried "unzooning"... same result. How do I get my software up and running again ?

My zune 80 is stuck device recovery mode and when I try to update the software, I get C00d124F. Not enough space on my zune to update the software. I tried to clear content several times but it still gives me the same error message. Does anyone else have the same problem and if so any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.?

I have 120 gig Zune and when I first purchased it I installed the original software on my home computer. I am now working out of the country, and I am using my laptop to add music and video to my Zune. The problem I have is that I cannot get all of the original data that was added on my home computer to add itself to the Zune software on my laptop. If anyone knows what to do to make this happen please let me know.?

my Zune is not working at all. i have a message saying i have to update some stuff. i tried to do that and it saying the zune wont allow it. i need to know if i can send it back and you guys can send me another one. i have a friend that had the same problem and you guys sent him a new one.?

Ok, so i reformatted my computer because of problems that caused me to not even get to the login screen on windows XP. It would always reboot before it got there, i believe from registry problems. Anyway, alot of the music that was on there was bought but not burned to CD because i did not foresee this problem and me having to reformat it. I have not reconnected my Zune to the computer after reinstalling the Zune software because i do not want to lose all my bought music. Is there anyway to get the music off of my Zune without having ever reconnected it to my computer? I´m afraid if i reconnect, my music will be lost.?

I just received a zune and i believe it was one of the greatest gifts ive received lately. The zune software and feel is just what i want, there is a slight problem though. Ive done some research lately and im getting worried on what will happen to my zune. I always had an ipod and was never a huge fan but though that Macintosh did a great job helping you with your problems. They always helped you over the phone and if you ever had a serious problem, went to the apple store and met with a person, they would make sure they worked until your problem was fixed. I keep hearing, even WITH the extended warranty Microsoft continues to be a pain. I have to say I take cafe of my music no matter a cd, zune, or ipod, but im wondering. Did I make a mistake? Should i return my zune before my zune gets dropped that one time? I dont want to get screwed over and being told that its my problem. Every device falls a few times, that should never destroy it. I find it ironic that in all commercials, their snowboarding, in moss pits, ect. Could my zune really handle this?af333 ?
